As part of Bury Council’s plan to save £35m by making efficiency savings and introducing extra costs for residents, it has been announced this week that the car parks that are currently free to use across the borough will likely see charges introduced.
For Unsworth & Whitefield residents, this could affect car parks such as those at Lily Hill Street, Unsworth Pole, Springwater Park and many others across Radcliffe, Prestwich and Bury.
